Hear From Our Associates
I like the family vibe at TAIT—it feels like a second home to me where I’m comfortable being myself around the good people and management here. There’s also an encouraging sense of progressiveness and trying to become our very best, both personally and professionally, from wellness activities to always celebrating new ideas.
Proposal Manager/Marketing Associate
Through TAIT, I have been given the opportunity to train, learn, and work in a variety of areas within the Environmental Health field. I am proud to work for a dynamic company that rewards hard work and practices strong ethics in business and employee relationships.
The best part about working at TAIT is the entrepreneurial freedom that I am given. I have been able to grow immensely since I started here, thanks to the encouragement and teamwork of my fellow associates. I couldn’t see myself working at any other company!
As a project manager for a national retailer, I routinely turned to TAIT to take my projects from concept to reality. Several years later, I was given the opportunity to join TAIT and lead our Boise office. I can say with certainty that I wouldn’t have made this leap had it been any other firm—but the PEOPLE and the CULTURE here were genuinely different. TAIT was filled with people that share a “can do” attitude and who really try to approach things from the client’s perspective…while putting a very personal touch on things at every step of the way. In the past decade that I’ve been here, the culture has continued to improve in new and exciting ways. And it all starts at the top, as Ken, Tom, Rich, and our other officers emphasize the importance of leading with kindness, being ethical in everything we do, and of course having some FUN along the way! I’m proud to be part of this truly entrepreneurial-minded company, and I look forward to helping lead us into the future as we strive to be the BEST.
Vice President - Architectural Planning Group
I really enjoy working at TAIT! For me, working in the Boise Office has been like coming home to a great group with several people that I have worked with throughout my career in grocery retail. The office environment is flexible, fun, and we work really hard for our clients. The company culture is one of kindness and respect, with a focus on allowing each office autonomy to do what it takes to satisfy our clients’ needs. We enjoy very competitive healthcare benefits and the latest change to matching with our 401k program is a real positive for our associates.
Director of Architecture – Architectural Planning Group
Company values, work environment, and diversity of engineering projects have always been at the top of my list for a workplace. Since joining the TAIT team, I have been pleased to find that all three of these items are consistently upheld as I grow with the company. First, as a family owned business, I have appreciated the clear focus that is placed on family, honesty, and hard work. From Taco Tuesday, to quarterly “Taits and Taiter-Tots” family dinners, and company events/parties, the work environment has been nothing short of excellent. Additionally, engineering lunch training sessions have been a HUGE benefit as CAD, engineering design, and vendor presentations are given on a regular basis for the continued growth and development of the design team. Finally, getting the opportunity to work on a wide range of private and public engineering contracts alongside a staff of in-house Engineers, Surveyors, Architects, Geologists, and technical support staff has been a huge benefit as lessons are learned and skills are gained on multi-faceted projects.
