Featured Fueling Systems Projects
Northern California
TAIT works closely with Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) in Northern California to keep their fueling systems up to date, and to make sure they meet all current regulations. We perform UST removals, and AST installations at their facilities. These projects are Design/Build. Our in-house team meets with PG&E staff to determine the needs for each facility, then we use the in-house Engineering Team to design the new systems, we permit the new installation, and then we construct the new Fueling system.
TAIT Environmental Services has restored hundreds of Aboveground Storage Tanks across the nation for various clients. This adds years to the life of the tanks, which provide fuel for emergency generators to supply backup power for communications and other systems. This can be done at a fraction of the cost that replacing the tank would cost.
Various Locations, TX
Worldwide, major telecommunications companies are supported by central offices, switches, and internet data centers throughout the United States. TAIT provides inspection, compliance testing, alarm response and repair services for critical backup power fuel systems at 200 plus locations throughout the Southwest.
Placerville, CA
TAIT Environmental Services performed fuel system services for El Dorado County Department of Transportation (DOT) in Placerville, CA. These services included installation of fueling dispensers, a new fuel management system, tank monitoring system, AST Piping, ground level fill boxes, and a syphon line. TAIT programmed and started up all systems, in addition to training the client on new features.
Various Locations
In the past several years, many 7 Eleven convenience stores began offering gas as a service line. TAIT, a vital member of 7 Eleven's new store development team, has provided the complete fuel system installation for a number of locations throughout the states of Texas and California.
Various Remote Rocky Mountain Locations
TAIT conducted vaulted tank inspections at remote communications facilities on behalf of CenturyLink. These tanks provide fuel for backup power systems at locations critical to CenturyLink’s communications network. Due to the significant terrain, TAIT coordinated air logistics to conduct the mandated inspections.
Dallas, Texas
TAIT was contracted by Oncor Electric, the electrical services supplier for northeast Texas, to remove a 12,000 gallon gasoline tank and product piping from their downtown maintenance facility in Dallas, Texas. The site offered many challenges- the site is in a walled compound with low arched entrances and the tank was set between two canopies. TAIT successfully removed the tank, performed soil sampling and provided a closure letter to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. We were able to obtain site closure from the TCEQ.
Various Locations,- US, Virgin Islands, Guam
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulates and oversees all aspects of civil aviation throughout the United States. TAIT installed or upgraded fuel systems that supply backup power for communication and navigation services critical to aviation safety. TAIT has serviced the FAA’s vast network at domestic locations as well as remote sites in American Samoa, the US Virgin Islands, Guam and Alaska.
Bishop, CA
Southern California Edison (SCE) is responsible for providng electricity to 14 million people across 50,000 square miles. TAIT designed and installed a complex above ground storage tank system which serves as SCE's remotely located hydroelectric facility, located in Bishop, CA.
