Santa Ana, Calif., Aug. 28, 2015 — TAIT & Associates, Inc. has won a new three-year contract as an on-call civil engineering consultant for the Port of Long Beach. The port is in the midst of a ten-year capital improvement program that covers improvements for street, water, sewer and storm drain infrastructure, which TAIT will design and manage on a task order basis during the contract.
As the second busiest port in the country and a significant center of international trade, the Port of Long Beach is in need of civil engineering consulting to help expand the port’s infrastructure and terminals to accommodate increasingly large cargo.
TAIT has substantial experience in public works services and will be dedicated to serving the port with their team of licensed professional engineers, project managers and civil design engineers. TAIT will work closely with the port to ensure its infrastructure improvement and expansion goals are met in order to sustain the port’s continuing growth.
