TAIT & Associates, Inc. has joined forces with Jay Washburn, newly hired as the Director of Development Services to help grow and oversee TAIT’s Northern California office in Rancho Cordova. Jay, who brings over 20 years of industry experience, will direct strategic goals for the regional office, with an emphasis on providing comprehensive development services to national private developers, including retail, office, hospitality, multi-family, industrial and residential.
“This is a strategic hire we’ve been seeking for quite some time. Jay has a unique skill set that weaves years of hands-on land development experience with a broad comprehensive perspective of our industry. We are excited and honored Jay is joining us,” said President of TAIT & Associates, Rich Tait, of the new hiring decision.
Jay’s recent experience includes serving as Director of Development at Boos Development West, LLC and Project Manager at Flintco, Inc., giving him a breadth of knowledge for managing a variety high-profile projects from concept to completion. Among his accomplishments is winning the DBIA Western Pacific Chapter 1st Place Award for Best Design-Build Public Sector Project Under $15 Million in 2007. He also won the 2010 Parks & Trails Project of the Year Award from the American Public Works Association Sacramento Chapter.
In addition to directing national retail and business development, Washburn’s new position will oversee financial management, safety and compliance for TAIT’s Northern California region. He will work with other Regional Directors/Managers to ensure the strategic direction of the office upholds overall company values and goals. All at TAIT heartily welcome Jay on board!
