On top of already being one of Engineering News Record (ENR) California’s Top 2016 firms, ENR has also given one of TAIT’s projects a 2016 Best Projects Award: the Del Amo Fashion Center Renovation won Best Project in the Renovation/Restoration category. TAIT provided a variety of engineering and development services for Phase 1 of the project, as well as preliminary engineering design for a Phase 2 expansion. Our own Mike Silvey was an integral part of managing TAIT’s services for Del Amo from concept to completion. The project was honored at their Best Projects Awards October Event in Los Angeles on stage, and is highlighted in ENR California’s October 3rd issue.
The completed Del Amo Fashion Center is now a two-level shopping mall in Torrance, CA. With over 200 stores, it is the largest mall in the South Bay. TAIT is happy to have been a part of creating this expansive center for shopping, entertainment and community in the South Bay, and we’re grateful ENR has recognized our hard work in bringing it to life.
