Once a newsroom, printing press, and distribution facility for the Los Angeles Times, The Press has been reimagined as a creative work campus. AIA California awarded Ehrlich Yanai Rhee Chaney Architects a Merit Award and an Honor Award by AIA Orange County for the reinvention of this design, "which celebrates the history and character of the industrial space," reinforcing the idea of a historic ruin, reborn. We are proud to announce that TAIT & Associates won the Longevity Award at the Orange County Business Journal’s (OCBJ) 2021 Family-Owned Business Awards. The 2021 Family-Owned Business Awards program recognized five exceptional Orange County businesses in the following award categories: Small Business Award, Medium Business Award, Large Business Award, Up & Coming Award, and Longevity Award. For this year’s Family-Owned Business Awards, there were 52 nominees. OCBJ presented the five awards on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the Irvine Marriott.

The Orcutt Union School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve a 99-year ground lease with TAIT & Associates to develop a senior living facility on 9.5 acres of the district’s surplus land in Orcutt, CA. The project will include 233 units of independent living, assisted-living and memory-care living, along with a community gathering center and a play-for-all park where children with disabilities will have access to meaningful play. A new TAIT Development project was recently featured in the news. TAIT was unanimously approved by the Orange County Board of Supervisors to develop the 375 acre Coyote Canyon former landfill property in Newport Coast, CA. Read more from the OC Register and Newport Beach Independent. 
We did it again, thanks to our associates! TAIT & Associates ranked an exciting 12th place for a mid-size company in Orange County Register’s Top 140 Workplaces in Orange County for 2018. The TAIT Boise office was happy to welcome another kindergarten class field trip from Lowell Elementary! Ms. Auston brought the new kindergarteners to learn about Architecture and Engineering from our Boise office experts. The TAIT team taught the children a few techniques for drawing, measuring, 3D drafting and surveying, introducing them to the field with some fun hands-on experience. (more…)
